Restaurant website design in Charlotte, built to fill tables.

Most people decide where to eat on a phone, a few minutes before they go. They check the menu, the hours, and how to get a table, and if any of that takes work they pick the next place on the list. We build restaurant sites that answer all three on the first screen, with an agent that texts back the calls nobody can grab during the rush.

What a restaurant site has to do

2,600+ restaurants in Mecklenburg County. Each one a tap away from yours.

That's how many restaurants and other eating places the county counts, with about 52,000 people working in them (BLS Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, Q1 2026). Here's what a site has to get right to win the tap.

The menu, as text on the page
Not a PDF that has to download and pinch-zoom on a phone, and not a photo of the printed one. A text menu loads with the page, reads on any screen, and is the easiest version for Google and AI assistants to read. When a price changes, it changes in one place.
Hours, address and phone up top
On a phone, before any scrolling. The same name, number and hours as your Google Business Profile, holiday hours included. When those disagree, guests show up to a locked door and Google trusts your listing a little less.
Reserve and order buttons that go where you already take them
OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Toast, Square, or your own phone line. We don't move you to a new system. The buttons send guests to the one you run tonight, from every page.
Pages for the big checks
Catering, private dining and large parties each get a page with what's offered, how much notice you need, and a way to ask that reaches a person. Those are the calls worth answering first.
Your food and your room
Photos of your own plates and your own dining room, sized so they load on a phone signal. Stock photos of someone else's pasta make a guest trust the place less, not more.
Built for the search behind the click
Restaurant markup that tells Google your cuisine, hours, menu and whether you take reservations, plus a clear line about the neighborhood you're in. The rest of local search lives in your Google profile.

The site is half of showing up when someone searches “brunch near me.” The other half is your Google Business Profile and your reviews. Restaurant SEO in Charlotte →

Then the phone rings

It rings in the middle of the Friday rush. Here's what the caller gets.

The host is seating a six-top, the bar is three deep, and the phone rings out. A guest who can't get through often tries somewhere else. Pick a call, type your restaurant's name if you like, and press Call.

Texts go out between 8 am and 8 pm. A call at 9:30 pm gets its text at 8 the next morning, so the late seating leans on your site and your Google profile for hours, menu and the reservation link. How Missed-Call Text Back works →

    Agents for restaurants

The site answers the questions. An agent answers the phone.

One agent comes with the site: Missed-Call Text Back or Support & FAQ Chat. Add others at their normal price. You cover each agent's usage.

    Missed-Call Text Back

Included with the site, or $249/mo as a second agent

The host stand's phone rings out during the rush. The caller gets a text in seconds with your reservation or ordering link, and the agent answers their reply from your menu, hours and policies. Catering and anything it can't answer goes to you.

How Missed-Call Text Back works →

    Support & FAQ Chat

Included with the site, or $249/mo as a second agent

A chat on your site for the questions you answer every day: hours, parking, the patio, the kids' menu, private rooms, gift cards. It answers only from your own menu and policies, and hands the rest to a person with a summary.

How Support & FAQ Chat works →

    Review Request

    $99/mo at its normal price

Asks every guest for a Google review with the same link, and alerts you to an unhappy reply so you can make it right. No rewards for reviews, and it never holds the link back from anyone. How it knows a visit happened depends on your reservation or ordering system; we confirm that on the call.

    A custom agent

    Quoted per project

When the job isn't one of these, we build it, wired into the systems you already run. Jobs that fit a restaurant:

    • Catering and private-event inquiries: date, headcount, budget and dietary needs gathered, then a summary sent to whoever books events
    • Large-party requests that don't fit your reservation system
    • Last night's sales and covers in one text to the owner each morning, if your POS lets us read them
    • Supplier invoices checked against what you ordered
How custom agents are built →

    The price, stated plainly

$600 a month, and what it covers.

$600 a month covers the site, hosting, small updates (up to 2 hours a month), and one agent, with a one-time setup fee quoted on the call. Menu changes, holiday hours and a new seasonal special are the small updates the plan is for. Bigger changes are quoted separately. You cover the agent's usage: AI usage and phone line costs, typically $20–40 a month. Month to month, with 30 days' notice to cancel.

Plenty of ordering and POS systems come with a basic website. If yours already fills tables and you can keep the menu current, keep it, and we'll say so on the call. The agent works on its own. What web design costs in Charlotte →

    What clients say

The restaurants in the demo are made up. These clients aren't.

“I hired [Nick George AI] to help me make my website (and my company) more visible to potential customers. … Nick did an absolutely fabulous job at SEO’ing my website, and even took it upon himself to fix everything else that was wrong with it. … I could already tell the difference after a week!”

“Nicholas delivered exactly what we wanted on time, and on budget. The end result was better than what we originally had in mind.”

    How it goes

From the call to live, in four steps.

    1. 01

Fifteen minutes on the phone. Your restaurant, your neighborhood, and how reservations, orders and catering come in today.

    2. 02

A price and a page list. The one-time setup fee, quoted for your site, and the facts it's built from: menu, hours, reservation and ordering links, events.

    3. 03

You approve it first. The design before it's built, and the agent's wording before it texts a single guest.

    4. 04

Live. The site goes up with your agent. Missed-Call Text Back starts answering once its text line clears carrier verification, about three business days.

    Straight answers

    What restaurant owners ask first.

How much does a restaurant website cost in Charlotte?

It runs from free, with the basic site some ordering and POS systems include, to several thousand dollars for an agency build, plus hosting and upkeep. Ours is $600 a month for the site, hosting, small updates (up to 2 hours a month), and one agent (Missed-Call Text Back or Support & FAQ Chat), plus a one-time setup fee quoted on the call. Bigger changes are quoted separately. You cover the agent's usage: AI usage and phone line costs, typically $20–40 a month.

Can I keep OpenTable, Resy, Toast or my current ordering system?

Yes. The site's reserve and order buttons send guests to the system you already use, so nothing changes for your staff and you keep your guest data where it is. We don't sell a reservation or ordering system, and we won't ask you to switch.

Should my menu be a PDF?

Keep a PDF to download if you like, but the menu itself should be text on the page. It loads with the page, reads on a phone without zooming, is the easiest version for Google and AI assistants to read, and it's one place to change a price instead of three.

Who updates the menu and the hours?

We do. Send the change and it goes up. Menu edits, holiday hours and seasonal specials are what the small updates (up to 2 hours a month) are for. A full redesign of the menu or a new section of the site is quoted separately.

What happens to calls after 8 pm?

Missed-Call Text Back only texts between 8 am and 8 pm your time, so a call during the late seating gets its text at 8 the next morning. That's a line we hold on purpose: nobody gets an automated text at 10 at night. Until then the site and your Google profile do the answering, with hours, the menu and the reservation link.

    Do I own the website?

Your domain, your words, your photos and your customer data are yours either way. On the monthly plan, the site is hosted and maintained for you, so the design and code stay on our side and you never deal with hosting or software updates. If you ever leave, you can buy the code. Want to own the code outright? That's a one-time build with a higher setup fee, and the monthly plan is optional.

Will a new website get my restaurant into the Google map results?

Nobody can honestly promise that. The map results run mostly on your Google Business Profile: your categories, your reviews, and how close the searcher is. The site backs the profile up with the same name, number and hours, a menu Google can read, and markup that says what you serve. The restaurant SEO work that goes with the site covers the rest.

    A note from Nick

One Charlotte small business to another.

A full dining room is earned one guest at a time, and you've been earning it.

I run a small business here in Charlotte too. Before I wrote a line of code, I spent five years selling door to door, which taught me how fast people decide, and how fast they move on when nobody answers. That's the guest I build for: the one who calls during the Friday rush.

On the call, I'll ask which nights you lose the most guests, because you'll know before any report does. If what you have already fills tables, I'll tell you to keep it.
