Nick George — AI Agents & Automation
Web design · Charlotte, NC

Charlotte web design for trade businesses, built to make the phone ring.

When the AC quits in Huntersville in July, people don't ask around. They search, tap the first number that looks legit, and call. We build sites for Charlotte contractors that win that tap, with an agent that texts back the calls you can't pick up.

Plan my site

Plan your site in three minutes. Keep the blueprint.

Tap where your last ten jobs were and where you want more work. Watch your homepage build itself on a phone as you answer. Leave with a blueprint you can hand to anyone: every page, the search it's written for, and what goes on it.

  • Your homepage, drafted in your words
  • Which towns earn a page, and why
  • The photos, facts and reviews to gather
  • What your missed calls are worth, on your numbers

Free. No email needed.

An example plan for a made-up roofer in Matthews: gold where the jobs are, rings where it wants to grow.

Then the phone rings

It rings while you're on a roof in Mint Hill. Here's what the caller gets.

A better site sends you more calls, and more of them come in when you can't answer. A caller who hits voicemail usually dials the next listing. Pick a trade, type your business name if you like, and press Call.

Your business name only changes the replay. It isn't sent anywhere unless you book and send it yourself. How Missed-Call Text Back works →

Ridgeline Roofing here, sorry we missed your call. This is our automated assistant. What can we help with? You can also book a free inspection: ridgeline.example/book. Reply STOP to opt out.

    Built for Charlotte

What a Charlotte trade site needs that a template doesn't.

Your 704 number, one tap away
Tap-to-call on every page, with the same business name, number, and hours as your Google Business Profile. When those don't match across the web, it's one of the quiet reasons a business never shows up in the map.
Both sides of the state line
To your customers, Fort Mill and Rock Hill are Charlotte. To the licensing boards, they're South Carolina. If you work both sides, the site says so, with each state's license shown where your trade requires one.
    Town pages you've earned
A page for each town where you really take jobs, with something true to say about the work there. Not fifty copy-pasted city pages. Google and people both see through those.
    Proof from around here
Photos of your own jobs, not stock. Your Google reviews, quoted on the page. How long you've worked around Charlotte. A stranger decides whether to call you on exactly this.
Fast on a phone with one bar
The person looking you up is standing in a wet laundry room or next to a dead AC unit in July. Your site is built to the same speed standard as this one. Run both through Google's PageSpeed Insights and check.
    Someone answers when you can't
Every site comes with one agent (Missed-Call Text Back or Support & FAQ Chat). With Missed-Call Text Back, the caller who can't reach you gets a text in seconds instead of your voicemail.

    The price, stated plainly

$600 a month. Here's how that stacks up in Charlotte.

    Local freelancer
    $1,500–5,000
up front, plus hosting and updates
    Charlotte agency
    $4,500–18,000+
    up front, plus monthly upkeep
    Nick George AI
    $600/mo
site, hosting, small updates, and an agent; setup quoted

$600 a month covers the site, hosting, small updates (up to 2 hours a month), and one agent, with a one-time setup fee quoted on the call. Bigger changes are quoted separately. You cover the agent's usage: AI usage and phone line costs, typically $20–40 a month. Month to month, with 30 days' notice to cancel.

Over three years that costs more than a $5,000 build with upkeep, and we'll say so. If you want a brochure you'll rarely touch, a good local freelancer is the better spend. What the monthly price buys is a site that stays current, with small updates made when you ask, and an agent that answers when you can't. What clients say

The demos are made up. These clients aren't.

“I hired [Nick George AI] to help me make my website (and my company) more visible to potential customers. … Nick did an absolutely fabulous job at SEO’ing my website, and even took it upon himself to fix everything else that was wrong with it. … I could already tell the difference after a week!”

    How it goes

From the call to live, in four steps.

    1. 01

Fifteen minutes on the phone. Your trade, your towns, and where your calls come from now. Bring the plan from above if you made one.

    2. 02

A price and a page list. The one-time setup fee, quoted for your site, and the facts it's built from: services, towns, hours, licenses.

    3. 03

You approve it first. The design before it's built, and the agent's wording before it texts a single caller.

    4. 04

Live. The site goes up with your agent. Missed-Call Text Back starts answering once its text line clears carrier verification, about three business days.

    Straight answers

    What Charlotte owners ask first.

How much does a website cost in Charlotte?

Charlotte web design firms that publish their prices put a small business site at about $1,500–5,000 with a freelancer and $4,500–18,000 or more with an agency, plus a monthly charge for hosting and upkeep. Ours is $600 a month for the site, hosting, small updates (up to 2 hours a month), and one agent (Missed-Call Text Back or Support & FAQ Chat), plus a one-time setup fee quoted on the call. Bigger changes are quoted separately. You cover the agent's usage: AI usage and phone line costs, typically $20–40 a month.

Do you only work with businesses in Charlotte?

No. We're based in Charlotte and build for trade businesses across the metro, from Mooresville and Concord to Gastonia, Waxhaw, and Rock Hill, and for businesses outside it too. The call, the approvals, and the updates all happen by phone and email.

Will a new website get me into the Google map results?

Nobody can honestly promise that. The map results run mostly on your Google Business Profile: your reviews, your categories, and how close the searcher is. The site's job is to back the profile up, with the same name, number, and hours, a page for each service, and pages for the towns you work, and that's how we build it.

I work in North and South Carolina. Can one site cover both?

Yes. One site, with pages for the towns you work on both sides of the line and each state's license shown where your trade requires one. A customer in Fort Mill searches the same way as one in Matthews. The site just has to show them you work there.

    Do I own the website?

The site is hosted and maintained for you, the same way we run your agent, so the code stays on our side and you never deal with hosting or software updates. If you need to own the code outright, that's a fully custom build, which starts with the operations audit.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Maybe not. If your site already brings calls, the agent works on its own: $249 a month after a one-time $850 setup. If the site is what's costing you calls, we fix both at once, and the agent comes with the new site.

Fifteen minutes on the phone. You'll know if it fits.

Tell me your trade and the towns you work. If a new site is the answer, you'll leave with a plan and a price. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.
