Languages and runtimes
- TypeScript
- This site and fieldtwin are written in it.
- Node.js
- fieldtwin needs Node 22 or newer. This site builds and runs on Node 20.
- tsx
- Runs fieldtwin's TypeScript directly, with no build step.
- Python
- mcp-gatehouse, tested on every Python from 3.10 to 3.14.
- uv
- Runs my Python projects and keeps their dependencies locked.
Frameworks and libraries
- Next.js
- This site, on Next.js 16, and fieldtwin's dashboard.
- React
- Under both, on React 19.
- Tailwind CSS
- Styles both, on version 4.
- Hono
- The web server inside fieldtwin that answers as Jobber and QuickBooks Online.
- GraphQL.js
- Runs fieldtwin's copy of Jobber's API, which is GraphQL.
- Model Context Protocol SDKs
- The TypeScript SDK runs fieldtwin's MCP server. mcp-gatehouse is built on the Python SDK.
- Zod
- Checks fieldtwin's scenario files and what its MCP tools are sent.
- YAML
- Reads fieldtwin's scenarios, which are YAML files.
- three.js
- The 3D scenes in two of my web design lab demos.
- Nodemailer
- Sends the email behind this site's contact forms.
